Like the bird and the pose but not the nut feeder. The bird is much too big in the frame. Do you have some perches up near your feeder?

Hi Scottthehat??? Welcome to BPN! Nice sharp bird with pleasing pose. I agree with Artie that for a bird this size it is too big in frame. I am assuming that Scottthehat is not your real name. You might want to check out Guidelines with attention to number 4. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome Scott. Nice detail and pose. I agree that it is a little tight and I would prefer a more natural perch.

I agree with the above comments, and I would also eliminate the OOF bright elements in the BG. I'm looking forward to seeing images with the birds landing on your proper perches:)

One of the tricks with feeder photography is to limit the number of perches that the birds can use to one or two...
