Gary, bird really pops from the dark BG. Love the blue feathers slowly creeping in. Maybe a little more detail could be brought back from the two really bright feathers on the back.
I like the pose of this beautiful bird, nice bg to go with it. Contrary to above comments, I am wanting more 'pop' in it, especially the head and eye. I'm thinking flash would have been good here.
