    Mike,

    Nice depth of field and low angle with a nice soft background are great. Nice sharp detail of feathers and prey plus the eye catchlight make it hard to focus on anything but the head. Even though the light is off to the left side, there's no really distracting harsh shadows.

    Lots of detail here and the prey item a bonus. I agree you did good even though the light angle wasn't perfect and super low angle. I feel the image is over sharpened though. Congrats

    A really nice photo. I like the dof, sharpness and colours of bird and bg work great together. Beach and prey all add to it. Perhaps a bit over sharpened but very nice. Dave
