    I love these birds.

    The pose and the sharpness look good, but I think the light was working against you, Mike, because that magical irredescence in the neck doesn't quite show up.

    I'm going to post a GH a little later today. I welcome your comments.

    I like the alert pose but find the OOF blades of grass in the foreground a bit distracting. If the original is RAW, you could change the color temperature. It has a strong color cast as presented.

    Nice environmental image. I agree your image has a strong Magenta cast to it.
