not sure what this guy is. tried a couple of tricks in Ps to spice it up. didnt want to take it too far overboard, but i was using some filters on the bg for a little extra punch. you like?

Nice HA, clear eye, dark colors are solid. Light is positioned perfect and exposure techs look solid.
Reflection are always subjective IMO - like it.

Nice one Mr H - for my tastes I would lose the reflection - as Jeff said though Just personal taste.
Good HA and clear sharp eye - I Like!!!

It's a Sanderling in breeding plumage. Nice!

Your background looks fine to me, the color from the filter make it looks like the color you get from a sunset (or raise) to me. Like the feather pattern here and the droplets on the beak adds to the image too. Might try to make the droplets more standout.

Looks good Harold Most of those filter effects can be done in PS but nothing like at the time if you have the inclination.

Just fine all around for me, love the little head tilt and drop of water. Cropping is precise, excellent !!

Looks like you added some warming filters Harold? Great pose and HA. Like how you froze the action at 1/2000s.
