Manual flash at 1/1 on a BB, what was you distance to subject? Really does not look too hot IMO. To be honest with you, I have spend hours on saving whites and never been happy with the results. I am sure it is me and many out the can rework it fine. I often use multiplying (can layer over & over) or linear burn and sometimes color-range too. That is my contribution to this thread, I will jump in more if needed.

Love the low angle and excellent eye detail, I like the circle within circle. I'm not sure about the darker blue strip on the background, it helps to bring focus to the head yet also a bit distracting.

I check the histogram, the chest is not all blown out. You probably can save some details especially with the RAW file. Here is my try on it, other probably do much better job than I do.

Repost by Thanaboon looks good. Don't think the whites could have been out by much, there seems to be detail back in the whites. Would you keep this shot for your portfolio, or just record Lance?

Nice repost - well done on those whites!!!

Jackie - Probably just a record shot - wasn't really happy with the dark strip behind the head.
