Great position, perfect exposure and sharpness on this beautiful adult Knot.

I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the feet.

Has the water been intentionally blurred? At 1/640 and f/8 I would have expected to see some definition in it?

The low angle, light and the bubbles...that make this image for me.

Thanks, Jim! I blurred the water at the bottom and above the feet. There was not much detail to begin with and the reflection was less than ideal.

The contrast between the bird and the water, makes it for me.
    Excellent IQ, angle and pose.

I like the feeding pose, and especially the bubbles around the beak. Overall sharp, and I like the stillness of the water. Well captured.

Sweet as noted above. My favorite part of the image are the sand/water bubbles around the tip of the bill. What month: August?

Another stunning image Axel. Love the light in this one and the feather pattern.
