Default Covered Bridge - Cuyahoga Valley National Park

I'm here in Ohio attending a Tony Sweet Workshop. Weather was rainy all day but we still mixed two shooting sessions with a classroom critique section.

Here is one image from the late afternoon session.

    Canon 50D; 24-70mm f/2.8L lens; tripod-mounted.

5-image HDR Tone-mapped in Photomatix and processed in CS4 using a watercolor filter.

    0.8 sec @ f/16; ISO 200; -1/3 EV; FL 54mm

beautifully tone mapped and colorful.....compositionally a very interesting image that
encourages one to explore the image.....nice one, even at 1000px tall and 779kb :(

Ed, Sounds like the workshop is going well regardless of the rain. I like the long look to this and think it has alot of interest w/ the straight bold red lines. I like the color tones within the image.

Tony Sweet is an excellent teacher, I have all of his books and tapes :)
Very nice location. I wish you had been able to elongate the red diagonal going further back. Nice pp and use of filter.
