First thing I noticed, when I looked at the thumbnail of this image is that there appears to be not enough room over the top of the head of the bird. Now that I have looked at the larger image, I would still recommend more room at the top. I think this image does not need that much room at the bottom.

Other than just mentioned, this looks like a technically well executed photo.

Hi - a big warm welcome to the BPN family - Nice first post. Yu have a good HA and eye contact, sharp details throughout and a complimentary BG. Does feel a little tight at the top and could perhaps crop a little from the bottom.
Looking forward to seeing more !!

    welcome Fernando......good critique above.
Also note that a smaller perch is generally better received visually,
even if you have to supply your own

Thank you for the commentaries, which will be born in mind in the next one. I agree that the perch is too big, I was waiting for a bigger bird. I have place over the bird, there was where it cuts away.:(

Thank you for the warm welcome and patience to teach.
    Sorry for my english

    Welcome Fernando,

Birds don't always present themselves in the optimal photographic configuration so I think you made the right compromises in working with what you had. A bit more room on the top might be nice but I don't think I'd crop much off the bottom as I like the bend in the perch.

Great look at a Hooded Siskin. Where are you (or the bird).

    Thanks very much for comments.

Delcan, I also like the curve in the perch, because of it that I chose her, but is big for the bird. I donīt understand your cuestion? Is your question where the photo was taken? If it is this, in the province of La Pampa. Center of Argentina

    Thankīs Kostas
