    Hi,

While walking through a small park about 300 yards from our house I spotted this 9 month old Great Horned Owl up about 30' on a branch last August. I know he was 9 months old because he was born high in a Eucolyptus tree beside our place 9 months before with 2 siblings.

WOW I've never even see an owl in the wild, great eyes. Thoughts, I think it might be cropped a bit much, not because I don't like his crop, I do, but I think the image quality is starting to fall apart a bit?

Hi Gus Tight crops will work if you can deliver on sharpness As Nonda pointed out it is starting to break up

Crop wise if that is the way you want to present the image I would level they eyes with the ruler too and give it a little more room for the beak at the bottom These guys to make fascinating subjects

    Hi Al,

Took your suggestions to heart, called in Sawbones for slight adjustment to crooked neck and steamed eucholyptus leaves to breathe easier. Little Tyke seems a lot better after pampering and tad of Guassian to dull pain? :D
