    killer shot bud... I would suggest you clone the one white spot behind the talons on our left side, but other then that.. very cool.

    Malcolm:

    Very intense stare here. I like the strong diagonal elements, the fact that the body is banked a bit to his right, talons. From a comp. standpoint, I might try cropping in from the right, as that area doesn't add much, since his attention is clearly focused straight ahead. I don't think you have to worry about it seeming too centered. Matter of personal taste.

    From a technical standpoint, there are hot spots scattered throughout the plumage, so would back off the highlight recovery slider just a bit.

    Hope to see more from this series!

    Cool pose and eye contact. Adding to the other comments, I would increase the color temperature, it has a slight blueish cast on my monitor.

    Great pose. I like the head on look and the tail feathers sticking out on the side. BG looks pretty good too.
