Default Juvie White Ibis Basking in Green

This juvenile White Ibis was photographed at Alafia Banks this past summer. The morning light generally offers breathtaking green backgrounds such as this. You can see that this bird's eyes are turning blue and his beak is beginning to show some orange. It's interesting to observe them as they progress through their various stages.

Lovely green on the water, Marina. I like the pose. Lightneing the bill shadow slightly may be an option to consider. Posting a little bigger would show the eye detail a bit more clearly. A series in the various plumage stages would make an interesting collection.
