Circular marquis selection of rose added
Some Asian characters w/reversed gradient and stroke outline.
Black floral flourish is just a photoshop "shape" to bring the elements together

That's beautiful Dave. I love the salmon color, noise and the spherized flower. I'm not too sure about the black element, but I do think the final composition might be a little stark without it.

Super Dave! We need to revisit Asian week-maybe I can see if Dan is a vailable to judge again-It was alot of fun! I love the gradient BG along w/ the grain. The use of the chop intertwined w/ the black flower is cool. Do the words mean anything? Very creative!
