Default Yellow-rumped Warbler - setup (sort of)

This image was made today out of my (open) bedroom window! I have a small pond/waterfeature within 12 feet of the window. The birds visit when they want! I am working on configuring the BG but this will be tough, as the rocks are kinda unmovable! PP'ed in ACR and CS3, cropped about 30%. C&C welcome.

Hi Dan. I'm thinking about doing a water feature in my backyard, but I have photographic concerns regarding the rocks. I'll be consulting with a landscape person about my desire to photograph birds at the water feature before I break ground. Regarding your image I like the bathing behavior but wish for a bit more eye contact.

I like the behavior and sharpness of the head. The setting is a bit busy and competes with the bird.

Dan, I like the action captured and the sharpness in the head is nice. I do think the BG is a bit busy- good luck w/ your re-configuration of the BG.
