    Default Tropical Sunbird

    Not really ;)

Ring Billed Gull, TomsRiver, New Jersey

The gull was never in an ideal pose, had to wait for a while for it to even turn its head. I've already cloned out a lot of unflattering flares.

The rim light works well and I like the red flare on the perch as well as the sun coming through the upper mandible. Its just the composition putting this one out. Had a bit of a play, hope you like it.

I like the repost better, though I could also see this with a vertical crop. I would darken the bird some also.

Dave, great setting and idea. I like Aidan's suggestion of a vertical crop.

Very nice, I like your placement of the sun with the bird, and the repost improves it.
