    Default Okavango swamp cat.

    Okavango swamp cat.
Whether they like it or not, there are times in the Delta (especially this year) when lions simply have to cross water,
here this female takes it all in her stride whilst on the hunt for Buffalo.

Been a fabulous trip Marc. Love the low view and can sense the lionesses discomfort.

Sweet image Strongest point is the captured expression ... spells out determination and you feel she will get what she is after !!!

Wow what an interesting capture Marc. We were there a few years ago but never saw anything like this. Many thanks for sharing.

Marc great low angle and the water splash from the fore paw adds to the sense of motion. She also has a look of concentration.

I love the lighting, the low angle and how the grass frames her.

Super comp Marc, and the striding posture with the right paw splashing through the water makes this. I like how you have cropped just above the reeds on top, and you have exposed the colour of the lioness very well.
