    Default Looking For Fish

A Tricolored Heron during part of his fishing routine...
It was getting close to darkness as the Sun was already behind the hills to the west of me. I still had a little reflected light, thus the 1/640 sec was all I could muster.

Canvas for the bottom mentioned Daniel, and I'd tone down the upper right highlights, but otherwise, fabulous. Very nicely done.

I'm sure this guy was tough to follow with fast and sporadic movements, but pointing your lens down more would have been great to avoid cutting the legs - and this image would have been a perfect candidate for fill-flash. Good wingspread!

Agree about more space on bottom, very nice pose and colors are excellent.

Thanks for the comments so far.
The orginal image had the entire reflection at the bottom, but most of my images have total reflections and people were sayin I should cut the reflection off. I never know where to cut the legs if I don't want the refection?
The reflection had some ripples in it and not crystal like I like it.
Flash in nice but not for me for wildlife images. They just never look right to me 95% of the time.
    Thanks again guys.
