HI Dan - Nice flight pose - wings up :) Good HA and eye contact.
For my personal tastes just looks a bit flat and a tad soft
I set a white point, adjusted the mid tones just a tad and selectively sharpened the bird a tad.

Maybe a bit more room up front???

    Good show :)

    Hi Dan,
This is a sweet capture, love the raised wing position, head angle and clear eye. The details on the under wing is superb...the baby blue sky makes your subject stand out...Mr. Peters' repost puts it over the top...well done...:D By the way, I like your copy right...:)

Nice Dan !! ... just get it bigger in frame next time :) Exposure wise it is under, setting it manually remember if you are metering on the sky will need to go over !!! Best to use the same reference point for exposure. Normally I use the sky and adjust, some people look for middle tones in foliage but makes no difference just need to be consistent !!!

Nice wing up position, love the full stretch legs and head position. The image does look a bit under. Wish the shadow on the wing wasn't there.

Thanks all for the feedback! Thanks Lance for the repost work, looks much better. The underexp is mainly due to my PP job:(. Al, I will have to use some "yellowlegs chum" or something next time:p

Tough bird to capture in flight; the wing position is a real plus! I'd like to see a white point in between your version and Lance's, which I find a bit too bright.
