Default Theme/Open: Autumn Colors No. 2

From the same shoot as my previous Autumn Colors post but rather than introducing in-camera motion blur as I did then, I went the post-processing route using Topaz Adjust, Topaz Detail and finally, Topaz Simplify. (For an explanation as to why I chose to use Adjust, Detail and Simplify, see my explanation accompanying my Pom-Pom image post of a couple of days ago.)

Image made using my Canon 30D; 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens w/ 1.4x TC (I was testing the lens with the TC giving me 280mm @ f/4.0 as a substitute from taking my 300 2.8 along on a Tony Sweet workshop this weekend.); handheld.

    1/25 sec @ f/22; ISO 100; 0 EV; Sunny WB

Hi Ed, Nice use of the various filters and like the way you divided the comp 1/3 orange with 2/3 yellowish.

Ed, this is really lovely. The colors are bold and beautiful and the composition is very pleasing. I am a fan of the Topaz filters myself, and I find myself using multiple filters more and more often. I love the play of light on the leaves. Nicely done!

Another stunner, Ed. I need to get me that software! Love the colors and the overall effect here. It really does look like a soft autumn day and the branches are just enough to anchor the eye to the image.

I really like the colors, light and reflection. The effect is very nice, the contrast of the leaves and the dark tree branches and trunks is really really nice.
