    This image was taken from a moving boat handheld . I was thrilled to have been able to get a capture at all as I was not anticipating this opportunity.

    Yes, this is super nice Judy. I love the dark tonality. The exposure seems to be spot-on when you could have so easily blown the eagle's whitish head and tail. So how did you do this with a self-confessed "grab-shot"? Was this auto or manual exposure?

    I like the pose sharpness and angle and might make it a bit lighter.

    pops nicely from the BG even though the latter is highly defined. I would also lighten it a bit. gorgeous details and pose captured!

    Thanks John for your comments and to answer your question it was taken in manual exposure but it just happened that the settings were fortunately very close to what I needed.
