    Dave, I really like the detail in the whites, sharp, and well exposed. Good to see part of his perch, and I like the landing posture with the swept back wings. Well captured.

    Sharp as all get out and a great job with the relatively harsh light. Love the raised crest. Only problem: a very slight case of BAA: bird angling away...

    Love this image mate. I am OK with HA as the bird obviously was more interested in landing than you and your camera. :D Top notch image IMO. Great details and excellent pose, razor sharp too! A+

    great exposure, pose and timing Dave! Artie's right on angling slightly away but doesn't bother me that much in this image and still better than any egret in flight I have :)
