    Here is a second bison-scape from Antelope Island here in northern Utah... this one was created a short time after the broader pano scene I posted yesterday.

    7D w/ 500 f/4
    1/640 f/8 iso200
    w/ beanbag, minor crop

    I like the comp John, with the angled horizon. I would liked to have seen a little more detail in the blacks.

    I like the slight uphill slope and the weeds. Also like how the light is just starting to run down the shadowed side of the hill. A little more detail would be nice but I can see a hint of the eye and it looks very natural for the conditions as presented. Nice and simple.

    I like it John Really like going for the bigger image and incorporating the animal into the landscape !! Best way for that circumstance !!!

    A serene image... love the FG with shadow and highlight . It is always difficult to get a clean shot, ie without grass/stalks covering part of the subjects face.
