Lovely portrait Akos with good eye contact and detail as well as a killer BG. Love the yellow circle that surrounds the eye which really draws your eye to the eye of the bird. Well done Akos.

I think I prefer the other portrait (the vertical) it works better with this species. Again, well done on getting this close.

Good eye contact, oben beak and BG. I might sharpen the beak a bit more.

The harsh light and its angle weren't at your advantage here, I'm not crazy about the various shadowed areas this created around the eye, chin, and lower mandible. Awesome details though, and I love the BG's colour. The open bill is a nice bonus. A bit closer and we'll be able to make out your car in the eye :-)

Light has been mentioned. Love the open beak and BG. The eye makes me wonder.

Very nice Akos, very interesting bird and you have a lot of character here with the eye contact and
    open beak.

Great IQ bro, and I prefer this your previous one. Good light, detail and colours, and well timed to capture the open beak. What a great BG too. Great image mate.

Nice one Akos. Again, love the sharpness and details. Very well done with the stacking. Prefer this too.
