    Default 5,000th Post!!!

For number 5,000 I'm serving up a Forster's Tern taken with the 7D. While the action is not exactly over-the-top, I was taken with the wing position, sharpness, great light, and the nice BG.

    Congrats Doug for excellent achievement,
Love this one too, wing position is favorable, beak and head are nice and sharp, might slightly sharpen the wing plumage. Thanks for sharing and congrats again.

Well done Doug. Great contribution to BPN. Love the eye level view at the tern and perfect timing on the pass.

Congrats on 5k Doug!! Your contributions have been valuable here on BPN :-)

The head does look ever so slightly angled away (at least from its body angle). Excellent details, wing-down position, and exposure. Looks like the 7D will serve you quite well!

Agree with your self-mentioned positives, one of the best BIFs I've seen with the 7D. Number of posts usually means nothing much to me...but you definitely deserve it (I've been following your 7D posts).

Congrats on 5K and thanks a ton for your excellent work here. Excellent self-critique but you forgot to mention that the head is angled ever-so-slightly away

Killer wing position and adequate d-o-f. A little bill clean-up might be called for. Hope to see you soon.
