    Default Wild Dog Stare

I decided to revisit some of my Sabi Sabi images from last year. Sabi Sabi is a private game reserve, where you are guaranteed to get close to most of the predators. We had driven into a river bed and came across a pack of Wild dogs and their pups. This one decided to give me the 1000 yard stare.

Beautiful image, looks like a young one to me. I've never seen a Wild Dog in Sabi, but then I have only been once.

Sabi holds a special place with us too as we got married there 5 years ago at Leopard Hills.

    Stuart,
I like this image. The eye contact is nice. The low angle enhances it. The sand ensures that there is no distraction in the background.

    Marc:
What a fabulous place to choose! Great idea.

We saw the wild dogs on one of our trips to Botswana and this image is just outstanding. I love their sense of extended family and how sociable they are with each other. The pose and low angle just puts this over the top for me. Love it.

Nice image Stuart. I like the colors of the sand and the way the legs lead the viewer's eye to the face.

This is a wonderful pose with great eye contact at eye level. The sand makes a perfect foil for the dog. Very nice.
