    Default Dagga boy.

Dagga boy is a term used used in Africa for an old buffalo bull living away from the herd. Dagga is another word for mud.
Tried to make the best of some challenging light, I do like the numerous flies that he is attracting.

Very apt title Marc. Old Zulu name for mud, which they like to help with the ticks and biting insects, which is evidently, accompanying this old boy. Good sharpness and details in the blacks. the low viewpoint adds a lot too.

    Marc,

Plenty enough water in Botswana this year to get this shot. Where were you, in a boat or was Ewan stuck in the water.

Nice shot flies add a lot!

Great close up Marc, and you have captured oodles of detail. Love the exposure, and the flies certainly add to the image. Well captured.
