    Default Bison-scape

I've been shooting with longer glass lately, and having fun using it for landscape/broader scenes as well as finally being able to have a bird actually fill a frame. ;-) This one is from this past weekend out at Antelope Island here in northern Utah... I wished the middle bison in the group on the right had raised her head, but still liked the overall look of this with the mountains in the background, etc...

    Thanks for looking,

Beautiful capture and the composition is lovely with the mountains in the background. Fine work and good DOF.

I've never had the opportunity to photograph these wonderful beasts, so enjoy seeing them here in your image - I should be so lucky! Ideally, I would like to see better separation between the bison - but they are as they are. Also, I would be tempted to crop the left side somewhat to give more movement to the right - in the direction they are heading. What do you think?
Clearly, you're enjoying your new glass!

I like the soft light and pastel colours in this John. I feel you should leave the comp as is. Well done.

Thanks for all the comments. I agree that this could be cropped additionally from the left... Gerald - I think it can lend to the movement, etc. I personally still like it as originally posted and the symmetry to the scene. Thanks again everyone.
