    Hi Mike...

    I love burrowing owls and your image captures those big gorgeous eyes nicely :)

    Two comments.....

    1) I would have leveled the center of the eyes / beak

    2) The image appears overall to have a rather cold / bluish cast to it?

    One has to love those eyes! Great detail and the second post color is improved over the first. We have these little critters around this area in the summer, but I have yet to find their location :(

    Lovely head portrait and repost def. an improvement. I used to see these guys everywhere when I lived in the Mojave Desert, Wished I was into photography back then. Congrats
