    Here in Southeast Texas we have clear blue skies this weekend, which is in my opinion the the absolute worst thing for bird photography. Sorry, I have a serious bias against high contrast images. So I'm processing a some from a few month ago. Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

    Bill, I have yet to get a good shot of one of these! They move so much and they are usually in a pile of c---.Nice job getting the bird on the stone.The details HA and BG all look great. I might crop from the bottom-to just above those two spots on the rock(the dark and the light one). Nice job w/ the Topaz.

    Hi Bill, Your technique works well here with good detail, color and a nicely muted backround. Head position and placement are also a plus!!
