Hi Gerrie, I like the angle at which he is posing, and overall, good sharp detail captured. Lovely complimentary BG too. Well captured.

Man, that bill sure has gone through some tough times! Overall very nice, but I'm finding the crop awkward as the bird is cut short IMO - I really would have prefered to see a bit of shoulder. As is it looks like it is just trying to keep it's head above water, so to speak. The techs and sharpness look great.

The soft light really suited the bird. Excellent sharpness. I love the well-weathered bill. I agree with Daniel about including a bit more of the bird. Thanks for sharing!

    beautiful image Gerrie.....quite unusual indeed.
Agree about the portrait needing a bit of neck support.

IMHO, you can tighten the histogram from both ends for a bit more range.
    Thanks for sharing this

I like the crop as a vertical with no more of the birds required...I will agree that more of the bird would have worked also.

The lighting in perfect for this image and the backgound but I think a slight curves adjustment might have added just a bit or a positive edge to it.

AWESOME work Gerrie! WOW man, this really got me stunned! I love the comp and while agree with the boys to see a bit more, it still sits just fine with me. My only, and little, concern is the dark ULC. But overall that is not a huge thing. Top notch stuff mate. :)
