I caught up with Cousin Marvin early one Saturday morning and found him resting on his favorite rock. I tried convincing Cousin Marvin in showing me his well groomed fingernails, but I guess he was in one of his lazy moods. Cousin Marvin resides in Miami’s Metro Zoo. He was painted with a Nikon D300s, using a Nikkor 300mm f/4D IF-ED lens, with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

Hi Jeff,
I'm glad you like Cousin Marvin...:D I used spot metering on him because the surrounding light was too bright, so I just targeted Marvin's face. I did not want to confuse the camera...:)
Hi Gus,
The first thing I noticed is the clear fore-ground, mid-ground and back-ground. The lines of the tree (rocks?) draw my eye right to Marvins eyes. I can't offer anything to improve upon, so do keep doing what you are doing.
Thank you,
Clive
