Another macro... used some frozen peas. Created using EF 17-40 F4 L + ext tube. Settings were 1/20 sec, f/4, ISO 100. Hope you like it...

Indranil, I love the peas! Great idea. I think the top pea needs a bit of focus in the center-since it's such a big part of the comp. I love the frozen look -Very nice!

Neat idea, Indranil. The ice crystals add a nice texture to the peas. I agree with Denise on the top pea, a higher f-stop would have been good. I might also add a little more room on the right side.

Interesting concept. I like the bluish tint at the top to add to the cold effect and I like the placement of the peas. The only thing I would change is to maybe add a bit of fill light (bounced from reflector perhaps) from left to soften the shadows of the peas a bit. Agree about having the top pea a bit sharper as well.

great idea....the idea alone is OOTB!
I think the rear oof pea is fine, but should be way lower about a third
above the other oof pea next to it

    love the fresh ice crystals

Thanks for all the feedback. Appreciate it a lot.

I see the point on the top pea needs to be in focus. I agree the pea is too high and prominent as Denise has pointed out. Bringing it lower as Dave is suggesting would probably have worked well. I did have few other frames where I have all the peas in focus (somewhat) and here is a new post with a different configuration of the peas...

Frozen peas, too funny Indranil. Like your repost with the greenest pea at the top. Good texture and colour:) Made me smile.....
