    Default Pee Wee's Nest

Taken last weekend at peak fall colors at one of my favorite new locations to photogrpaph... The locals affectionately call this place "Pee Wee's nest" based on some history of a man that lived here a long time ago. Its a small area carved out of Sandstone and covered in lively green moss.

Very colorful and balanced composition. Hard to believe those yellows are real, now I know by experience they are not overdone, but real.

    Hey Mike,
Nicely composed and the colors are super! I do like the overall scene and mood and it captures the area nicely......did you also compose some tighter?.....I ask because I find myself drawn to the central part most and feel that that area would even have stronger impact. My gut feeling is yes......so can't wait to see it! This was done very well overall and you picked the peak time for colors.....very nicely done!
