    Default Boardwalk by Old Faithful

Right in front of the Hotel by Old Faithful complex there is an extensive boardwalk which takes you through the Geysers. I think the shortest is over a mile and if you take the entire route is close to three !!! A must walk ...

During the winter a visit will require a trip on the snowcoach !!! Difficult getting around since the board walk has lots of snow/ice while the ground being warm is free of snow.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

One of the most impressive walks I've ever been on, with the geysers shooting and geyser springs of multiple colors abounding.

Glad you and Fabs were able to enjoy it and enjoyed it.

Actually, the steam cools fast. But it is a volcano, so it could get hotter someday!

Al, Haven't been there in winter yet. That season I try avoid, except here in Florida, if at all possible. Been there and done that! But I have friends in Idaho that often go there for the weekend in winter. Word is if you like winter, it is a nature paradise. I know the images would be awesome as the steam really show up.
