    beautiful image, love the foamy surf.....to me, the sanderling itself seems
    a bit two dimensional, without shape. Really like the bit of leg detail

    Very nice image with soft colors. I like the waves behind the bird. Agree with Dave's point.

    See if this is better. I removed most of the outline and shaded around the underside just a tiny bit.

    In flipping back and forth, I like the second one better too. But I loved the first one before I ever saw the second one. I like the simplicity of the bird, some sand and wonderfully foamy wave action. The bird seems to be posing for you, trying to communicate with you in some way.

    Denise, I really like this one. The cocked head, and that seafoam look to the surf really brings this image to life. I liked the oiginal just fine until I saw the repost! The PP is very pro. Excellent image!
