    Lou, he was right there when the Japanese tourist went up to him and fired the point & shoot with a flash :D ... just wish I had been there !!! :)

    There are a lot of nature enthusiasts with little knowledge of nature there. It’s very easy to come home with stories of those trying to help clear out the gene pool by interacting with nature. You don't need an 800mm to get good images, but a short tele zoom is desirable to keep some distance.

    It always amazes me how many people think these guys are harmless just because they are near civilization and sitting quietly. Glad the tourist didn't get hurt.

    When I see number 10 I think of you Alfred and seeing the tail end of you skirting behind the church. You made my day for sure !!!!! Sure glad you got out of the way.

    for sure I was trying to take a picture of him peeking around the corner but I was laughing so hard it was far to blurry lol

    that was one of the funniest things on the trip for sure
