    This image was captured the same day as my previous post "Osprey with Chick". I can't decide which one I like better!

    Canon 40D with a 300mm f/4 lens; manual exposure, 0 EV; ISO 320 at f8.0. Used highlights and shadows to bring out detail in the whites and wing shadows.

    Thanks for looking. Any C&C welcome.

    Gail I like this shot, you really captured the action. I tried a different cropped, I thought there was a little too much blue sky/ negative space. I hope you don't mind. You didn't mention your SS, but guess it was at least 1/1000?

    Hi Gail,
    This is a very nice capture...I like the landing position. You have sharp details and a sharp eye...also like the spread wings showing the fine details...and that baby blue sky...good show...keep them coming...:cool:

    Excellent Gail !!! Nailed the exposure and difficult for those birds, whites get blown right away !!

    Interesting crop, makes it seem a totally different image !!! Neat !!!
