If you look closely there is a shadow of 2 Gulls that were flying overhead screaming and this caught the Semi's attention. Sorry for so many of these Semi's but I just think they are adorable and I can't seem to get enough of them.

Early morning light. I did a white balance correction as the warm tones were strong, but I added back in some warmth as I felt it looked more realistic to the morning.

I like the angle, sharpness, pose and setting. The chest looks a bit blueish on my monitor.

Axel, I posted the wrong image. I had warmed it up and this is the image I was suppose to post originally. But now that you mention the blue chest-I think I still see a faint bit of blue?

Nice light and color (I don't see the blue?). I also like the detail, DOF and low angle. I do wish for a bit less of the blurred foreground.

The eye squint looking up at the gulls with that "what do you want now!:D" look really puts this one over the top. Also find your comp very strong. Congrats

Hey Denise, another wonderful Semi from you. I like the snug pose, enjoying the warmth of the early morning sun. I really enjoy the DOF effect in your images, it works so well. Good sharp detail, against a killer BG. Well captured.

Excellent feather detail and exposure looks spot on.

For me, the DOF is too shallow (I know, most everyone will disagree with me).

Recently, I added a couple of images like this to my printed portfolio and immediately, comments such as "this looks unatural or it looks like it was done in PS" came up.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Hi Denise,
For me the DOF is perfect - I love that 'brd in heaven' look!

Very cute little bird indeed. I don't think I could get sick of them. Nice pose and one can tell it's being alert about something going on. Great work with fabulous details. :)

The altered image looks very good. It would have been good to repost and leave the original for comparison reasons since it confused some of the posters.

I think they were referring to my post directly under yours, asking if there was still a faint bit of blue. Since I posted the wrong image to start w/ and I had stated in my OP already that I had added warmth into the image -I felt it would be more confusing. Sorry, Didn't mean to confuse you. I had just forgot to overwrite my initial image w/ my warmth change. I'll be more careful in the future.
