“Mr. Tony”
This cool kitty cat was resting in the shade. Mr. Tony is a resident of Miami’s Metro Zoo. He was painted with a Nikon D300s, using a Nikkor 300mm f/4D IF-ED lens, with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

With the cat at eye level, it really adds strength to the pose. I find the highlight on the hindquarters a bit distracting but the blue eyes are fantastic. The background has great detail to it which I like. He almost looks like a model posing for the camera … beautiful animal.
