    Default Bronzed Cowbird

    1DsMkIII, 600mm, f/5.6, 1/800s, iso 200 - tripod & wimberley head

Taken on Alan Murphy's Roma, Texas workshop earlier this year. What a great workshop - not only did we get the shots but I learned how to "do it at home". Priceless.

Welcome to BPN, Rebecca! Very nice first post. The setting, pose and BG look very good but unfortunately the image is too small to say more. You can edit your post and upload an image that is 700-800 pixels high. Keep them coming!

    Hello,

I agree with Axel concerning the size of the image... The result seems to be very good and I like the composition you made with the branch well anchored on the left lower corner. The bg is nice and enhanced well the black bird which seems very well exposed. When and where did you take this picture?

    Nice shot...

Thanks for the feedback and the welcome! I updated the size.
This was taken at a private ranch in Roma, Texas this past April. I was amazed by the diversity of birds traveling through the area.
