    Default Distant gaze

One of Honey's cubs (from Big Cat Diary fame), photographed in the Masai Mara.

Somethings I wish I could change … I would like to see the cheetah's right ear and I would like to have had a bit more DOF, and if the animal looked straight at me, that would have been great too.

Image is only cropped from the top slightly, this is almost the full frame.

Plenty good as presented, a slight turn would have illuminated the other eye. Love the intense look and eye contact with the over the shoulder look. You might be able to go in and lighten the eyes a bit !!!

Just taste but might take a little from the right side to have the head out of the center. One fine image !!!!

    Thanks Alfred & Harshad.
I have lightened the eyes and re-cropped.

Hilary, I like the over the shoulder pose, and the comp works well. I feel you could add a touch of saturation to the cheetah. Masai Mara must be incredible.

Looks fabulous and for that lens especially! You did really well and I also wish for a little more saturation. I am officially jealous that you got to see one of the BCD's offspring. That's my fave African show!
