    I took a lot of shots of this cooperative Owl earlier in the year and was working some images from the past and thought I would share this one.....

    Light, sharpness, color, pose, eye contact and BG are great.
    Good exposure, though the whites on the face are at the edge. on my monitor.
    I think that a higher shooting angle would improve.

    Sweet pose, and I sure like the bg. I also like the angle. I only wish the perch was more attractive, maybe crop more of it out and take a bit more off the right.

    I like the earthen perch and the red color of perch and BG. Interesting pose and good sharpness. I might tone down some of the whites on the face. Salton Sea?

    LOL. What a stare. Nice sharpness, pose and exposure. I would probably crop more from the bottom to have less of the perch visible. JR

    Hi James, if looks could kill - I like the pre take off pose, and the detail is sharp throughout. Lovely complimentary colours in the BG too. How I wish for only one image of an owl, any owl.
