    I'm having so much fun with my 500mm..... I photographed this crane at Miami's Metro Zoo with my Canon 5D Mk II. ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/250 sec, EF500mm f/4L IS USM + 1.4x extender, 700mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash, Circular Polarizer. Comments Welcome......

    Hi Mr. Waas,
    I like the composition, image and capture...the color rendition is very good. You have a good head angle with a sharp eye, I like the feather details...and the background compliments your subject quite well...good show...looking forward to more...:cool:

    Love the exposure, whites look very good and still detail in the shadows, good looking bg and one fine zoo image !!!

    Wow,..I thought you were not the bird expert. Great shot, I really like it, composition is great and love the eye. Background spots do not bother me, but glad they are not any brighter - could be toned down a tad?

    Wonderful use of light, nice, soft and exposes fine feather detail- well done. Like to see more bird photography from you.

    Hi Richard, I don't know how long you've had the 500mm, but I do know that you'll be having fun with it for a long time - it is such a sweet lens.
    I like everything about this image and wouldn't change a thing. Nice capture!

    Richard where do you find these birds:)??? Rich colours and nice whites. Might take a bit off the left if it were mine.
