    This one was a bugger to load. Started with an 800-pix height and reduced it 50 pix in each of three successive uploads before it was judged small enough to take. It is reported as 512x650 pixels in my computer now, but I have uploaded many - almost all the others - at 800 pix for the long side.

    That's all the time I have for uploads today.

    Hi Joel,

    I like the composition here and the smooth reflection adds alot to the image. I wish the GBH had it's head turned slightly towards you instead of away. The reflection seems sharper than the actual bird, so I'm guessing that you focused on the reflection and not the GBH. The close busy bg is less than ideal.

    wow, nice observation Jim ! I was about to comment that "image seems soft perhaps due to large crop" until i saw ur comment & went back to agree with u...

    The image is also in need of some clockwise rotation. If you use the ruler in photoshop to draw a line from his eye to the eye in the reflection, then hit image, rotate arbitrarily, it will already have the number in there, just hit ok.
