    D2Xs, 600, ISO 250, f9, 1/500, -0.7EV, Fill @ -1.3 EV.

This was taken as the bird made his way down to my drip pond.
I selectively plucked off some of the larger leaves from my perch.
Making a little high pitched squeak with your lips will make the bird stop and look back for a second or two.

I like the setting, great light and colours, and just love the overall detail in this. Great image.

Very nice as always, Alan. Only thing I could mention is the sharpening is maybe too much for my taste. Congratulations.

That is very interesting for the CD book...Looking at Alan's pictures he is certainly one of the greatest masters out there and it will be great to learn from him through his CD book. Thanks, Artie

Thanks Lorant, and YAW. Once I saw Alan's slide program on Long Island in September I knew that a CD book would be great for everyone.

I really like this. Sharp, good HA, background. I like the perch and the foliage. Nothing I would change.

This just pops out right at you. Wonderfully captured and post processed.

Just beautiful Alan. And I can attest to the fact that Alan is a GREAT teacher. Anyone who is interested in this type of photography should attend a workshop , or at least , check out the CD. A wealth of info to be had.

Excellent Alan. Best of luck with the new guide. If anyone has the authority to write on the matter - it's you. Oh, and beautiful image - everything is spot on.
