Perfect HA for this backview - good job in waiting for it turn its head properly before pressing the shutter. I don't mind the dreamy "cloudy" FG, but I think there is just too much of it - cropping away close to half of it would strenghten the comp IMO.

Beautiful softness to the BG. I like the dreamy look to this but agree w/ Daniel a little off the bottom. Very nice details and light.

    Hi Agris,
This is stunning - love the mood, but do agree with taking a little from the bottom.
    Best,

Super shot Agris. Like your style and as mentioned, the head angle is perfect. Crop as mentioned, may strength further.

Excellently done! Not sure how you achieved the softness as I can't see the transition if it is caused only by DOF. But it certainly works very nicely indeed!

Wicked bird, pose, HA, and light. I am fine with the dreamy look but not with the o-o-f rock (???) in front of the bird on our left... That hurts the image big time. What was the habitat? Do you know if this is a juvie?

Now that sure is golden. Great colors but not so crazy about the OOF foreground. Might benefit from a crop from the top, bottom and left. JR

Arthur, thank you for the comment and critique. I suspected that this might be juvenile, but was not sure.

Kolka is cape in Baltic sea and one of the best place for watching migrating birds in spring and autumn in that region of Europe. Some use this beach for resting. OOF "rock" most probably is sand formation.
