Hi guys, just back from another awesome trip to Giant's Castle. The weather was perfect - windy and lightly overcast (which is preferable to the harsh light which so often result in pitch black shadows at this location), which translated into lots of action for the vultures and buzzards. A bonus was the background which consisted of recently burnt veld with new green growth, which has resulted in a soft green background, quite different from the "standard" winter colours, which has become perhaps a bit stereotyped(?). Comments welcomed as always.

    Stunning photo as usual Chris.
Dynamic pose, great exposure and sharpness.
The green background adds a wonderful new dimension to your GC images. Look forward to seeing more.

Hi Chris, firstly, as you stated, the BG is definately so different from the norm captured at GC. Great diving posture, and nice and sharp. Well captured.

Bloody oath, Chris. The rest of us may as well just pack up and go home:D:D. Love the curves, colours, BG , sharpness, plumage details.....everything. Agree that it's a nice change form the usual Giants BG.

Fantastic colors - both on the bird and background. Wicked pose implying high speed and yet tack-sharp.

    Big congrats! JR

Chris you did quite a nice job with the different colors on this one. The green really, really sets him off.
