This is a set up perch in my backyard. I found this Sycamore limb in the woods at a local community college with some of the most interesting scars and gnarls on it and had to bring it home. I drilled some holes up and down the sides of the stump and filled them with suet hoping to get some woodpeckers or nuthatches to visit. So far I have only gotten a small army of Downys coming. I am really hoping for a Red Bellied WP or White Breasted Nuthatch to stop by so you all may see this perch again. I hope nobody minds. The stump really does have some other very interesting formations on it that would be great to share. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy.

Perch definitely has some interesting textures and tones. Not sure whether the critical focus is on the perch or the bird - looks a little soft but may just be a sharpening for web issue.
Agree with Tony about the focus, just a bit soft overall, but more noticeable on the bird. Good HA, and I like the feet showing.
It is a very interesting perch. However, for the small bird, I think the perch overwhelms the subject.
With a pileated or other large bird,( red bellied as you mentioned.) it might work a bit better.
