    Hi, Rich.

    I'm not sure about the species, but I like the way you have the grey bg working with the bird's colors.

    It looks like the whites are hot. Hopefully, you can pull them back. It will make a huge difference.

    Nice portrait of this gull. I might remove the bright spot in the upper left and tone down the whites a little. I wish for a bit more head turn toward you.

    Nice portrait, Rich. Nits mentioned, there is also a slight sharpening halo on the underside of the beak.
