    I don't mind the square crop here but would have liked to see her more to the left of the frame. Love the BG and the grasses on the bottom of the image.

    Hi Rick:

    Nice capture of this Harrier with its legs and wings extended. The bird appears a bit too centered. I would move it to the left a bit. I like the way the environment and behavior are both included here.

    Colours are great here, Rick. Love the warm tones of the bird against the greens. Nice soft textures. Fascinating how long the Harrier's legs are when extended.

    Agree that the bird is a bit too centered. Also agree with Tony about the nice soft textures and colours.

    Nice shot Rick, harriers are not easy subjects. love the colors and BG, there is some motion blur on the harrier and it is somewhat small in the frame, a tighter crop will show more of bird and still have plenty of "ambiance". The HA is not ideal and the harrier trademark, the yellow eye is not visible but extended leg and landing position makes up for that to some degree.
